Christina trained with Relate and worked with the organisation for 14 years counselling people with a wide range of relationship difficulties. She has worked at the Good Health Centre since 1998 and has established her independent practice at three centres in North Leeds.
Christina works with individuals and couples, her approach is integrative using the Relational model and she offers short and long term therapy.
Christina believes that the key to successful therapy is that client and counsellor are able to connect with each other. Counselling is about relationships: your relationships with family, friends and colleagues and yourself, and your therapeutic relationship with your counsellor. She works in partnership alongside her clients, exploring their difficulties and helping them achieve the outcomes from counselling that they have mutually agreed would be beneficial.
Christina sees clients with a wide range of issues including:
- relationship difficulties of all kinds
- divorce and separation
- stress management
- work related problems
